PRIVACY STATEMENT: RURAL BANK OF STA. IGNACIA, INC. (SIGNABANK) values your right to data
privacy. Provided that you have given your expressed consent, we collect, process, and store your
personal data when you avail any of our products/services and when you apply for employment,
adhering to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA), its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), and other
relevant issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
COLLECTION. Your personal data will not be processed without your consent. The bank ensures
that collected information are not excessive but rather relevant to the products/service you availed.
Your basic personal and contact information, and other minimum information required to
complete your transaction with SIGNABANK will be collected, including personal information
collected through video recordings or CCTV systems for records and security purposes.
USE.
Your personal data shall be used for legitimate business purposes, consistent with the
standards of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), and other
regulatory bodies, committing to legal and regulatory obligations;
STORAGE. Your personal data, through accomplished forms, will be stored and secured inside the
bank’s vault that is securely locked and protected;
RETENTION. RETENTION. Collected personal data will be retained within five (5) years from the date of
closure/termination of accounts, following the requirement of the Anti-Money Laundering Act of
2001;
DISPOSAL/DESTRUCTION. Bank personnel are not allowed to dispose and/or abandon your
personal data in an area accessible to the public;
ACCESS.
Only authorized personnel of the bank have the right to access your personal data;
DISCLOSURE AND SHARING. Your personal data may be shared only to our service providers for
official business purposes.
